Robert Satterwhite, Ph.D.
Dr. Robert Satterwhite is a Senior Consultant and Alliance Partner of Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC, operating out of Wilton, Conn. He is also the founder and managing principal of Talent Acuity Group, a consulting firm focused on talent management and organizational development.
Robert previously served as Vice President at APTMetrics where he provided advice and consultation on human capital challenges. Over his nearly 20-year career, Robert has had a successful track record with more than 30 percent of the Fortune 100.
He has extensive experience developing and delivering a broad array of assessments that measure employee potential, readiness and fit, and provide input for development. His experience includes managing OD-type projects, including competency modeling, organizational design, performance management, and employee engagement.
Robert provides counsel and support to organizations on program design, including reliability, validity, structure, and legal defensibility. He has served a wide range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical, hospitality, and federal agencies and his clients have included Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola, Pfizer, PepsiCo, Nestle, Samsung, GE, AMEX, Reed Elsevier, Fannie Mae, and the Library of Congress.
He completed his Bachelor of Arts at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill/University of Seville, Spain, and earned a master’s degree in psychology at Wake Forest University. Robert received a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Robert is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). He is also a board member of the Southern Connecticut Chapter of SHRM, HR.com, and Global Worker’s Justice Alliance.
